More Range Time

I spent just 20 minutes at the range today. Membership has its privileges (only $6). I think I’m showing progress on my accuracy. I’m not anticipating as much. Don’t worry, I still am, but for now, I’ll take this as a small victory.

Today’s results…

From 2 weeks ago…

It’s not easy being green, but it’s delicious!

It’s been about a decade since I have made my version of vegan pizza. It’s not super pretty to look at, but it’s really delicious.

The twist here is that my omnivore wife specifically requested it this time. That tells me that even the meat eaters in your life may enjoy this one.

The dough:

3 Cups of bread flour

1 cup of water

1 teaspoon of salt

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 tablespoon of dry active yeast

The “sauce”:

3 avocados gutted and smashed like guac

1 teaspoon of salt

1 lime squeezed for juice only

Toppings:

Whatever you like! We usually go with mushrooms, black olives, and green peppers.

The “cheese” I use is the Violife Smoked Provolone Slices. They do make a shredded version of this cheese, but I prefer the texture of the slices.

OMG I Checked the Box!

Have you ever had something that tasted so much like meat that you checked the packaging to make sure?

Well friends, your ol’ boy SMV just did. Jack and Annies meatballs (obtained from Whole Foods) just fooled my senses.

Holy crap these are good and the real deal. Take it from a meatball lover!

P.S. Don’t freak out like I did 😛

Bullets and Balls

Went to the range today to practice with the M&P Shield Plus 9mm. This is a great concealed carry gun.

I clearly have some work to do. I’m anticipating the recoil. I’ll keep at it though. Looking to do my concealed carry class this summer.

When I got home, I decided to cook up some Impossible Meatballs. I threw them in the crock pot with some Thai Chili Sauce and some Grape Jelly. Spicy-Sweet FTW!!!!

Be sure to stir frequently. Those meatballs go from frozen to super hot in like 20-30 minutes.
